Would RecommendVery easy installation, simply remove one of the hinges and then set the tension. All very easy. We have several of these on our doors, because kids and some adults forget to close a door.

Would Not RecommendFor me, who has installed spring loaded hinges before, these are junk. I am installing on the steel door from garage to house. An enlarged casing. These only have adjustments every full quarter of a turn. You don't have that in this type of casing. There for, you cannot pout the tension on it that is needed. Also, I have two hinges. One has a steel lock pin with no head on it and slips into the adjustment slot and you have to use a magnet to pull it out. Very poor design at best. The other has a...
Beware before buying: this product does not come with a tension pin, which you will need.. I used a small nail. Directions are basically useless. But after installed, it worked great.
