Not enough room for wingnuts on American Standard
Would RecommendThe new bolts and washers solved an issue with a leak from the original washers on a 30+ year-old American Standard toilet. However, there wasn't enough room to fit wingnuts on the bolt. I ended up buying two stainless steel 5/16 hex bolts to replace wingnuts.
Nice design, temporary fix.
The wing nuts,washers, and regular nuts are steel. When the toilet tank condensates, the nuts will rust.
