Would RecommendNice finish and thickness. Screws included are perfect. One suggestion I might make is to remove the plastic film before, not after, installation. The chances of scratching the plate are slim, and tearing this film off bolted to the door is not easy or practical. Also, you can eyeball installation, hold one screw, and let the other side of the plate rest on the floor. Don't drive the screw tight, until you lift the plate and screw the other top corner. Then all the other screws are cake.
Screws Not Included
Would Not RecommendI purchased this kick plate, which should have included screws with the plate. However, no screws were included. Rather than drive to Lowes, which is not located near my home, my handyman drove to the nearest hardware store to purchase screws to attach the plate.

They went on so easily, and is so beautiful. It really adds to the elegance of the doors! I had to patch a rotten place in my expensive french doors, so needed to cover it with a disguise. Worked pefectly!
