I purchased several of these months ago and recently went to purchase some more and the ones that I found one side of the item was defective and I made an associate aware of that..... it’s a manufacturing defect I went to another Lowe’s store the identical thing happened disappointing that I couldn’t pick up more
Horrible Design, Don't Buy This Ever !!!
Would Not RecommendThe magnets fell off, the tabs to hold the magnet were cracked and the tabs wrap over the magnet so the magnet never touches the metal grate surface. We bought two sets, wow, this is one of the worst products I have ever had the sad fortune to buy from Lowes. Poor design, poor quality, not worth the $7.50 we paid for each one. I would give this no stars if I could, giving one star is being generous indeed.

Perfect for those larger registers
Would RecommendWorks great with those oversized registers in the pre 2000 homes. Fit my 18" register perfectly. Just a note the 15" is the minimum size the deflector goes. Extends up to about 30 inches. Works well.

Would Not RecommendDoes what it is designed to do, but requires an extremely steady hand. The lip that holds the two pieces together has about 1 millimeter of overlap, so if you flex or deflect the pieces at all while trying to put in place or during use, it will fall apart.
