Check the bolts for the proper length for the door
Would RecommendOther barn door kits supply different length bolts to accommodate various door thickness , this one did not , so the bolts had to hacksawed off and the threads reworked. Not impressed

disappointed is this product, instructions say to mount to wall studs. Most house wall studs are on 16" centers. The rail that the door rides on is predrilled on 17 3/4" centers. We had to drill new mounting holes for the rail. If the door is hung over existing doorway molding the door is too high off the floor to utilize the door guide at the bottom.
