The tape itself is a little stiff, so it can get folds in it that don't fully smooth out if you don't take your time. Otherwise it's great. Recommend rolling out the amount you need with the backing in place, trimming it off the roll, and then applying.

Would Recommend....from this tape. I went to the trouble and expense to buy the same brand tape as the insulation to be installed. I found this tape to be no different (No better) than any other foil tape. It adheres well to itself but, does not stick to the Reflectix insulation. It got the job done but, wasn’t worth the extra effort locating it.

Would RecommendUsed to join reflective insulation panels together. It worked but seemed a bit fragile. Would tear fairly easily when pressing down to join the two panels at the same. Also it’s difficult to separate from the nonstick backing

Would RecommendI used this to tape together seams of foam sheathing. Very sticky and will roll up on you if you remove the entire backing before applying to surface. Key is to peel away backing as you are applying.
