Less squirrels
Would RecommendPurchased this to see if I could cut down on the amount of squirrels at the bird feeder. There is one squirrel who still hangs around the finch seed, but most don't seem interested. This is a better ratio than the spicy seed, that stopped pretty much zero squirrels from taking over the feeder. Have a nice selection of finches and other small birds come to the feeder, also mourning doves, and sparrows. Haven't seen any blue jays, but that's the price you pay I guess.

Would RecommendSo many of the different types of bird seed bags have mixtures of seeds that our local South Florida birds don't eat and are a waste. I like the finch seed mix because all of the seeds are eaten by my local birds. They attract, sparrows, painted buntings and some warblers. This is a type of seed that Lowes should always have in stock.
