dd 2016 DEC!!!
Would RecommendI just replaced a RAYOVAC 9V alkaline battery in the garage door opener keypad. It still worked, but was not 100% reliable. It survived at least 6 harsh Canadian winters and some really hot weather too. I only hope the new one I am using now will last just as long. Not for the cost, but I hate opening that battery compartment.

Good price and quality
I think Rayovac is a good, affordable brand and the quality of their batteries is better than you might expect. I have some Rayovac rechargeable batteries that are better than my Energizer rechargeables. So until another brand proves to be better I will continue buying Rayovac.

Misleading
Would Not RecommendSays 5 year warranty on package but on website it's 5 years in storage. I had them in hard wired smoke detectors and got less than 2 years.More expensive than others, just misleading.
