They are safe around pets and children, but I would still be cautious just to be safe. Make sure to put them in areas where they have a lesser chance of getting wet; dry pellets work better. It does take a few days or even up to a week before you see progress in the elimination of rats and/or mice.

It is safe to use around livestock and pets

No sticky or gooey mess!

Easy to use in small spaces for mice

This was a great product to use in tight and small places with the small pellets where little rodents like to run to! Overall have noticed no more mice in this area and will try in our other shed! I think I got em!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to reseal and easy to pour out of the bag. The bag was super tough to open which made me feel safe putting it in my shed. I worried about my dog or kids getting into it but that bag was darn tough to open. I seen animals go under my shed and start digging underneath so I needed a solution, since I put it out I have not seen any action which makes me feel good about it.
