Better controller/ force to replace old one
Would RecommendPros - It was easy to switch out with the old controller and it is more user friendly than the old controller. Cons - Power transformer is built in so I had to add an outlet near the controller. Also, I was forced to buy this controller because Rainbird no longer supports the old 1.25A systems. The old controller worked fine but the transformer went bad. I would have given it a 5th star if it wasn’t for being forced to buy a whole new system just because of a bad transformer.

Would RecommendThis unit is a big improvement over the much older Rain Bird it replaced that was starting to fail. It’s easy to program and I like that the status screen displays many of the pertinent settings info.
