Would RecommendI still think traditional fly paper works better if you have a good place to let it freely hang. These things are awesome to set on counters, tables, shelves, or small spaces where fly paper isn't practical. I bought some potatoes where one had a bunch of fly eggs already going and they went wild in my apartment- talking hundreds of flies. between fly paper and a few of these it took care of the problem within a week. This sticky trap works great for both flies and knats. I don't use sprays as I have both dogs and cats; the fragrance of sprays is obnoxious and harmful to our health. The sticky trap takes a little longer but is effective.
