Yellow Jacket

The Yellow Jacket love to hover over the grass near the fruit trees. With the reuseable trap, we capture many Yellow Jacket each year. The trap refill say’s good for 2 weeks and in my region they work for 4-6 weeks. I wish there was a video or direction on the website for all the supplies that come in the refill kit. Also a picture of the 18 insects and label of the insects so I can identify what we are catching. I believe I am catching Yellow Jackets and not honey bees.

I bought this trap from Home Depot. I did everything that the directions suggested. I put it in different locations. I used the cotton swab an "bait". Then I used a cartridge bait. Nothing worked. Not one yellow jacket over 7 days. This was a complete waste of money.

I got stung multiple times this year(and got very sick from them). My dog was also getting stung, as Yellow Jackets were invading my yard and home. They were much more aggressive than I have ever seen in the past. I tried other YJ traps previously, and was not thrilled with the results. Apparently there are different YJ scent lures for different parts of the country, I am in Northeastern Ny. As I researched- in the Spring YJ seek proteins while in late Summer and Fall they look for sugar...

Really works

Here on our lake in West Michigan we had an infestation of yellow jackets this summer. When two children at our 4th of July party were stung I had enough. I bought this rescue trap at home Depot and it has eliminated the problem. In seven weeks has killed about 1000 yellow jackets. The original bait did not last long but the ten week replacement is on week five and going strong. Thanks!

Getting revenge for being stung!

I got stung recently so I bought the reusable trap and a bag trap. The reusable one has been much better than the bag. I hope the one who stung me is dead!

This does the job!

Shortly after hanging this up it attracted and trapped several yellow jackets.

I've purchased two if these and gave had them up for weeks...only trapped one wasp. Think that was an accident.

We hung this up in the evening, and by the next morning it had already trapped so many yellow jackets! We didn’t expect it to work so quickly, especially since it hasn’t even been up during the main part of the day yet when yellow jackets are most active.

Weak yellow jacket attractant

I bought this yellow jacket attractant a week ago and went to use it and it had almost no smell at all. No bees were attracted. Went to Home Depot got another brand and it was very strong , got many bees. Not happy.
