Works great

It works just as advertised. Jar is almost full, less than 2 weeks

Worked well but stinks!

It worked well. Started trapping flies quickly but after a few days in the heat, it started smelling very bad. We had to chose between the flies and the smell.

Smells Terrible

This might work for "spring" weather, but in the summer heat the smell becomes putrid. The other negative is there is possibility of flies laying eggs and hatching. One of my traps caught tons of flies, but then laid eggs and there are larva and both alive and dead flies swarming inside the trap. Smells so bad I can't really put it with my other trash, so storing outside until trash day. 2 stars because it did catch flies.

It's a good product it works well. But I don't really like cleaning it out cuz the flies smell rank! I think I prefer using disposable ones It's just not worth dealing with the smell.

Amazing and disgusting

A recent storm tore the tarp off my chicken run and we were inundated with flies with a day or two. I also have horses & am surrounded by cattle farms. This trap caught hundreds of flies within 24 hours (pictured). I'm back to buy 3 more. It smells awful but the flies are on it immediately.

This product might work too good! It's drawing flies from all over the neighborhood! The trick (I think) is to put it far enough away from your door so it pulls the flies away. I'm still experimenting with the best distance and placement.

I love seeing this fly catcher fill up. I’ve tried many others & this is the only one that works!

The smell

These are not reusable, even thow the product says you can. You can't get by the smell to reuse them . You have to throw them away.

If the original and 1980's remake of "The Fly" have taught us anything it's that flies are disgusting pests and if left unchecked with take over the world as well know it. Well, this product will take care of any flies outside your home and will greatly reduce the risk of a fly landing in your teleportation chamber experiment which then causes it's DNA to fuse with yours transforming you into a giant mutant fly. I didn't know what to expect but I hung this outside by a bush and OMG the flies came. It really does work!!!!
