What Customers Are Saying
The Rescue Yellowjacket Trap and Cartridge is an effective product for controlling yellowjacket populations. Many customers report the trap is easy to set up and use, successfully attracting and capturing large numbers of yellowjackets. The attractant cartridge is said to be long-lasting, lasting the entire summer season for some users. The trap is selective, attracting only yellowjackets and not other beneficial insects, allowing users to enjoy their outdoor spaces without fear of stings. However, a few customers did not find the product effective, with some reporting it failed to attract any yellowjackets. The quality and performance of the product seems to vary, with a small number of users receiving damaged or defective units.

Bought 2 of these and haven't caught a single wasp
A Hell-Storm for Hornets
Would RecommendHad a large influx of hornets after Hurricane Ian. Set two traps up; one was pheromone wick type, other was water based type. Absolutely slaughtered them and only seeing a few stragglers here and there. Photo shows partial body count. Have an extra wick in reserve!

Effective trap
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I held off using this for a little while until I saw yellow jackets again in our yard (they come every year) and overall this year had been a pretty mild season for them. That said, I did eventually use the trap on the few that I came across while mowing. The trap seemed pretty effective considering the lower population of them I have seen this year and I have so far avoided getting stung (*knock on wood*). I will definitely use this again and ...

Looks good, zero yellow jackets
Would Not RecommendI purchased this trap four weeks ago and set it up per the directions. Zero yellow jackets in the trap, yet plenty of yellow jackets nearby, including on the hummingbird feeders. I wanted this trap to work, unfortunately a failure for me.

Works Great
Would RecommendWe have placed at least 300 of these around Fairchild AFB for years. They are extremely good for catching yellow jackets out foraging. People enjoy watching them fill up. We use the 10-week bait which works very well at attracting yellow jackets. Keep up the good work!

Not For Us
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the idea of this product and wanted it to work, but it simply didn't. The trap caught two yellowjackets and there were/are many, many more than that in the area it was placed. So I rate it as ineffective and not worth the time, cost or trouble.

Would RecommendI hung one of these in a tree as we are having a big problem with yellow jackets. I hung it in the later morning and by the next morning at 7 am the trap was FULL of yellow jackets! I am totally amazed and infinitely happy!! I went out and bought 7 more (we have a very large yard). Thank you so much!!

Keeps the kids safe
Would RecommendFor years we have always had bee/wasp problems. My wife shows me an add for rescue traps and I don't pay it no mind. She buys a few and I am amazed on how much it reduces the bee traffic on our back and front porches

Not for us
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Reusable Yellowjacket Trap is a good idea if you have tons of yellowjackets, which we do. My issue is that this does trap bees as well and with the bee population dying down I couldn't, with a good conscious continue to use this trap. Granted it's well made and sturdy and definitely does what it needs to I'll live with the yellowjackets to save the bees.

Works good so far
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now that summer is here, I finally put this product to good use. It was very easy to set up. I put the trap on my patio and so far, I haven't had a problem with yellowjackets. I'm looking forward to being yellowjacket free all summer. I will definitely purchase again.

Not sure
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item in March. I live in the Midwest, yellow jackets are not out then. Due to the arrival date I could not give this a proper review. It looks like it would be a good product and is well built.

Best with the 10-week Attractant Cartridge
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in central Texas, we have a lot of insects in the backyard. It's difficult to tell the difference between stinging insects and Rescue makes it easy to identify yellowjackets vs paper wasps. It picked this up in case we had any stray yellowjackets living around the yard. The reusable trap comes with a packet of attractant that you're supposed to pour onto a cotton ball. I tried this method first and found it such a mess and a hassle. I go...

Worked okay
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s nice that it’s reusable. Last year we had a fair amount of yellow jackets flying around our backyard. The trap has captured several yellow jackets and there have been far fewer in our backyard. It’s an eyesore so we keep it hidden on the side of our house.
