Would Not RecommendWork once, that was it. Guess is both ends of your pipe have to meet mid coupling. Not going to experiment again as it kept blowing off and cost me a lot of water trying to get to work

Would RecommendI first used one these couplings nearly 30 years ago. I was doubtful as to how well it would work. Left the ditch open for several months to see if would leak or fail. It is still holding. Have used several since. Simply ensure pipe is clean before installing. Plumbing or food grade silicone will help sliding the rubber grommets when positioning the coupling.
