In line ball valve for 1" slip to slip PVC - works
Would RecommendIt's a good ball valve but it starts out pretty tight which might loosen over time. However, I don't need a lot of adjustment to slow down the pump.

Very HARD To Turn...But There IS a Cure!
Would Not RecommendI have used a number of these 1" valves over the years. Some work great...some are so tight that it is next to impossible to turn them. While trying to apply some type of lube may help a bit...but after it is in use for a while it will, once again, be almost impossible to turn. However...There is a CURE for this problem if you have no choice (convenience or otherwise) and must use this valve. Before installing it, drop it into a pot of boiling water for a couple of minutes. Then pull it out...
