Would RecommendI had to use these valves during a simple repair to a 1/2 inch CPVC water system. The valves are sturdy: the colors are available to indicate the hot side of the system. The interior is a rotating poly-silicon ball with inline hole aperture. This prevents it from drying out due to excessive chlorine exposure and high temperatures. Used 4 of them on the shower pipe/valve replacements in our 2 bathrooms. 1st step was to use the valves to allow turning water supply to be restored to our home. The sturdy ball valves were up to the task and provided solid water control while finishing the shower valve and tub spout installation. Solid product.
