Nice to have an outlet in the floor

Straightforward instructions. Easy if you don’t mind cutting into your floor. Looks good in place.

Looks great! Looks can be deceiving

It looks like a great product. The rubber pieces are not easily opened for access and looks like it will be a problem in the future. The plug is not flush so whenappliance is plugged in the plug can be bent as the top of the plug sticks partially out. The metal plate takes a screwdriver to open it to plug in an item. It should come with a tool like like paint can opener so you can open it.

Fairly easy install and the customer love the finish. The ability to use the outlet with the lid staying down is very nice touch too.

The Template is too small / Instructions lacking

First, the template is way too small. The hole probably needs to be at least a half inch larger than what the template shows. Second, there should be more instructions regarding procedure. It would save a lot of trips running between floors.

Easy to Install

Great easy to follow directions with a cut out pattern. Really like the outlet recessed so the cord end is below the floor.

Not easy to install, but nice

I'm a journeyman electrician and I use these floor boxes often. yes the installation is a bit frustrating, but the end result is perfect. here's what I do. first I cut out the template that comes with the instructions. then I drill four 2" holes with a hole saw and then cut out what's left.

Great solution for open space outlet.

Product was well built and easy to install. Instructions were a bit vague but was able to go online and watch some helpful installation videos resulting in a professional looking installation.

Poor product. Search furhter.

This poor product should be removed from the market until it is re-engineered. It should be engineered to fit a hole saw cut hole, so the cutout is easy & precise. The parts should be re-engineered to fit together neatly so there is NO ambiguity. And its silly little door should NOT need two screw drivers to open. This product will be replaced as soon as I find the one which this products aims to be. Recommend to a friend? Ha. Not hardly.

Brass Floor outlet for hardwood or carpet floors

I'm completely happy with this Brass covered receptacle out and metal box. It looks great and the moveable cover works perfectly. I really like that your actual cord end plug from your lamp, etc., is completely below the floor surface. I would suggest that you cut the hole in your floor very slightly larger than the instructions provide because if you cut it right on the line of the provided template your metal box will NOT fit into your hole. Great product for the price

The product is true to color and was durable. My electrician installed it in my floor where I plan to place a remote reclining chair. The plugs are recessed, which work great.
