As per electrical codes, having a cover on electrical outlets and boxes is a requirement, and this fits perfectly for the box we have. It easily gets screwed on the boxes with the slots on the two opposite corners that match up with the 2 screws on the box. Would definitely recommend it.

Would RecommendIts metal, Its almost round. It fits a 4" round box. It worked to cover and existing box. It even had a stamped text marking showing which side was inside, so you do not mount it incorrectly.
