What Customers Are Saying
These metal electrical boxes are well-constructed and offer ample interior space for easy wiring and installation of larger electrical components. Many customers found them sturdy and secure, though some noted the mounting strap can cause the box to protrude slightly from the wall, requiring adjustments. While a few customers found them challenging to install in existing walls, the boxes are generally considered a reliable and versatile option, particularly suitable for new construction projects.

Wish it mounted differently
Would Not RecommendThe mount strip stops box from being flush to stud. Normally the gang box mounts to the stud, so cut the hole based on that. Then realized the mounting strap pushes the box to out from the stud so had to widen the box hole. Bought an oversized outlet cover to hide the extra hole cut space. Needed metal box since the box is against an attic wall.

Standard 1-gang box
Would RecommendNeed your own clamps, but is better suited where you have 3 or 4 connections to make in one box

Standard 2-gang box
Would RecommendNo complaints with the box. Works just like they have for years
