What Customers Are Saying
The compression cap fitting is generally considered an effective and reliable product for capping off water lines and valves. Many users report the cap fits well and creates a good seal, making it useful for various plumbing projects. Some found using a small washer or Teflon tape helped achieve a tighter seal. While a few experienced leaks or improper fit, the majority of feedback indicates this is a good quality, functional product for its intended purpose.

Exactly what I needed to stop water supply after taking dishwasher out

Capped water lines. Did not leak.
Cap Nuts Have Multiple Uses
Would RecommendI purchased this Cap Nut to keep the water from dripping from my water filter after I removed the water supply line. This worked excellent now I keep it in my tool bag and ready for the next use.
Life changer part!
We had some bozo techs leave our waterline to the dishwasher unhooked so we could install an electrical outlet to correct the former owners diy job. We needed a cap fast and Lowe’s had it in stock to save several days of leaking water until the installers came back to complete their work! Good to have a wide variety of hardware close by for emergencies!
The staff in the store are so unhelpful
Not good quality
Small & hard to hold onto
Would RecommendEasy to use
Nice brass cap
Would RecommendNeeded a cap in case a valve wouldn’t stop leaking while working on a project.
As expected
Would RecommendClean threads, no stripping
Can’t just use by itself.
The cap fit the threads on the water valve exactly. But, I had to use a rubber washer inside the cap and teflon tape on the threads or it would leak.
