If this little piece is what is causing your shower head to have less water flow, than it is better than buying a whole new kit. But, it is VERY cheap plastic, had to use locking pliers to get a tight enough fit so that water did not spray out back towards wall (compared to an old Delta shower head that I finger tightened on with no issues). it is a universal holder, so my shower wand did not fit into the grove all the way, which I am not upset about as it is a universal device.

Would RecommendDid the trick! We had a nice showerhead/hose combo that we like, but the swivel ball that is inside the holder broke off. This rendered the combo useless. Two considerations factored into the purchase of this new holder. One, the simple economics. A new showerhead combo is upwards of $50 nowadays. Two, we loved the one we had.
