Kitchen faucet review

This kitchen faucet was one of the least expensive single handle faucets that I could get to replace a rental unit faucet that failed. It was easy to connect with 12" tail pieces. Worked just fine.

Bad Quality

It only worked for a few months, and then the handle starts turning 360 degree and cannot switch between hot/cold water. Tried to tight the screw a few times, no help. Made a mistake to purchase this replacement, my old faucet looks ugly and rusted, but still functioning well after 13 years. Do waste money on this junk.

1.8 gpm

Purchased the product because specs said 2.2 gpm and I'd had trouble before with a whiny faucet with the lower gpm. Disappointed to find it was 1.8. At the lower gpm, I might've gone with another brand. install was easy enough. And flow was fine and not whiny. But the specs on this page were incorrect.

Disapointingly cheap

I've installed 10 or 12 faucets over the years, and while this one was not the worst; it is far from the best. I wanted to spend a little more money, but my wife went cheap. My issues are as follows. The on/off lever is not definite in it's movement, so people will think it is off and walk away with a stream of water running. Had to be replaced in one yeat.

The one handle mechanism was shot in less than a year. Adult home - no rough treatment. Could not shut the water off! Don't waste your money!

Looks good, but doesn't last.

Looks good, easy install. Now the bad. Handle constantly loosened, required tightening with hex key at least once a month. After about two years, spout, yes chrome spout developed a half dozen pinhole leaks requiring entire faucet to be replaced. Granted covered under warranty, but had to remove and return to store to get another one.

DON'T BUY IT

I got this one and it broke within the first week! I had it professionally installed by a plumber so it would be done right. But the handle will not stay put on the base. It spins around and will lift off if you aren't careful. As others have noted, the "set screw" will not hold it in place. Mine is stripped and will not tighten. I'm in a rental (with very outdated features) including the sink which just so happened to stop working within only 3 months of living there. I wanted to replace it myself because my landlord is completely helpless and this fit perfectly. It was about $40, already had the tools and the plumbing underneath was still good to go. Easy fix. Not to mention Lowe's employees are always very helpful!

Just installed it 2 days ago hope it will last for couple years. I did not like the plastic parts, it seems weak. also the underneath gasket is plastic not rubber.

Not bad but not well designed either.

I bought the Project Source kitchen faucet because they didn't have the same priced Peerless kitchen faucet in stock. The Project Source faucet is not bad. It seem decent quality for the price. It is as simple as it gets. However, the one annoyance is that the hot and cold water connections spin freely so you have to get a second wrench to hold one side of the connection in order to tighten the hose. Cheap and simple does the trick

Nice decent price wouldn't say a long time fix maybe just got while waiting on new sink to come works no leaks so I'm happy
