What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise these towels as affordable, durable garage staples that excel at absorbing oil, grease, and tar through multiple washes and heavy use. Many highlight excellent value and reliability for automotive and workshop tasks. However, a significant portion reports serious red dye bleeding that permanently stains clothing and other laundry even after repeated washing, rendering them unsuitable for mixed loads. Several also mention linting issues leaving fibers on surfaces. Despite strong performance for greasy jobs, the dye problem frustrates many users who wish the towels were white.

Would RecommendLove these shop towels! I keep them everywhere, from my truck, to my garage, to my EDC backpack. Great for cleaning up small messes or cleaning your hands off.
Leaks red dye forever, linty and pointless
Would Not RecommendI don't understand why these exist. They will turn anything you try to "clean" red / pink and leave many fibers behind. You can wash them separately with as many extra rinse cycles as you please, and they will still forever leach so much red dye that you'll never be able to wash anything else with them. We put a white terry cloth cleaning rag in a load with them once, and it came out so pink that it, too, started to leach red dye on everything it touched. If you're looking for a fast way to give...
An old time favorite for DIYers.
Would RecommendThey're the typical red rags that I've used for years. They hold up well to average use.
Decent towels
Would Not RecommendGood towels but they’re thin and have no consistency as it relates to dimensions.
