Very nice Farmhouse Style

Exactly as pictured, but has a cord that is way too long for standard use, you may need an electrician to install them because I had to shorten the cord. Also it was scratched in a few places when I opened the box, had to turn it around when I installed it so the damaged part did not show in the dining room.

I bought three of these lights for my combined kitchen/dining areas, going for a more rustic look. Once I realized my brother was never going to get around to installing them for me, I finally took it upon myself to try installing them on my own. Never having done anything with electrical before, I read the instructions, turned off the circuit breaker, and the wall switch for good measure, and set to work. Great looking unit for price. Hanging cable very long and will have to be modified before hanging. No instructions.

good quality, not enough light.

I loved this light, quality was great, easy to install. BUT it was not good for our dining room which already lacks natural light. It looked like a heat lamp above the table. I think it would be great as an island light or for more direct lighting with a room the already has a lot of natural light. Otherwise we lovedit! It also has a lot of cord for customized height. We used a 60W bulb. Even with a higher watt it only lightened the part of the room below the shade.

Contains Lead

I bought this light to replace an old fixture we have over the kitchen table. Liked the look and it was a good price so went to store and bought it. Didn't realize until I got home that there is a warning label on the back of the box stating that it contains lead and you need to be careful when coming in contact with it. Didn't like that so I returned it. I wish Lowe's would have noted that on the product page because I never would have bought it.

Slightly industrial - value priced

I bought this to go over a sink. The problem I had was the ceiling is vaulted and it's quite a distance to the sink. The cord on this is plenty long enough to reach and this thing looks great. Very easy install. One caveat: get the length right before you attach the escutcheon. I had to take a couple of stabs at it before I got it right.

Just what I wanted!

I purchased this to put over the peninsula in my kitchen for extra light. It works perfectly! The light comes with plenty of extra cord so we were able to put it as high or low as needed. The recommended max light bulb is a 150 watt, but we use a 40 watt and, with the white interior, it lights up the area plenty. With the inexpensive price, it couldn't be a better purchase!

Barn Light

I love this item. I wanted to add lighting to my Barn and this product was perfect for that application. I have installed 15 of them in there.

Great Price

I was looking for something cheaper that still was pretty. This pendant was exactly what I wanted. It was easy to install and it is a great piece.

Perfect light for our garage. I ordered two to replace some old ceiling fans that did not belong. Standard installation for lights, so pretty easy if you are used to basic lighting wiring and ceiling mounts. I love how easy it was to adjust the length of the cord and the clever way it is secured in place. Great buy for the price.

Pendant Task lighting

We purchased this pendant light fixture to replace the one over our school table. The lighting is perfect for our space and provides plenty of direct lighting. We would recommend this fixture, especially at the cost of less than $20!

Easy to Install

I have a pair of similar fixtures already in our kitchen, and back then my husband had to help me install because they were rather heavy. Whereas with this fixture, I managed to install it all by myself from start to finish; it's because the metal shade came off from the fixture and I could just attach it back on once everything else had been installed in the ceiling. Great design for a girl like me trying to tackle some DIY projects.
