I bought this mat for my computer chair on a hardwood floor. I had one of the plastic mats made for computer chairs, but the ends kept curling up. I bought this mat, and the rubber edges work great, and with the material I can easily roll back and forth without damaging the wood. And because it's 72", I never get off the mat with the chair.
