They do not stay tight
Would Not RecommendI tried using these for my kayak and after 20 mins they are sloppy loose and I have to retighten. One time they became so loose after a few mins the hook came off the rack and I almost lost a $2k kayak. Stay away from these if you are using them for anything important.

Would Not Recommendbought these for the price. I've used ratchet straps for many years, these tighten up nice,but releasing them is the trick. there is so much play in the ratchet area that the catch will drop down and catch the teeth of the take up unit and not let you pull on the strap to release it. not overly impressed with them.

Would Not RecommendThese are poorly manufactured. The ratchet metal plate that holds the ratchet locks well but is too short from side to side so when you unlock the lever it won't unlock the metal plate on one side because it's too short. I have to use a tool to unlock it by hand while it's under tension which is dangerous.
