Would RecommendHad to install in wall with drywall - wood walls and used a TGLR 3/16-IN TGL BLT anchor to mount to the wall. Marked top part of bar and drilled 1/2 hole in wall, place anchor into hole, and tighted with pull strap. Straps easily break off to mount flush with wall. Aligned top part of bar to hole and inserted screw through loosely and marked bottom hole. Drilled 2nd hole into wall, inserted anchor, then aligned bottom hole with anchor. Need better screws
The grab bar is typical excellence and easy to install. The only complaint I have for all these grab bars is: the screws that come.with it are horribly weak, the head strips of not screwed on one motion.

Would RecommendI like the number of screw holes in base plates. I was prepared to drill holes. The mount appears to be strong and stout, as well it should for a shower or tub application.
