A great value and easy to install!

This garbage disposal is more powerful yet smaller than my old garbage disposal. It was easy to install and has a plug attached for your convenience. I put it together and had no leaks. It is so much quieter than my old garbage disposal!

3/4 HP Disposal

It wouldn't be a holiday without some appliance failing in the house and this year's entry for failing appliance on Christmas was our 1998 vintage garbage disposal. I knew it was on its way out from the funny noises it was making from time to time, and 25 years is a long time to have a disposal. I just wish it didn't give away my heart on Christmas day. On the very next day while scrounging Lowes for 75% off Christmas deals, I discovered my store was picked clean save a couple of sets of broken ...

good unit for the price.

Smaller size than 3/4hp disposals I've seen before. Runs well and the installer had no problem getting it in. Note that his unit is corded with a plug and requires an outlet. It does have an odd clunk when it first starts; not sure if that will affect anything.

First DIY and went smoothly

Very easy to install after watching a quick video. Replaced a Moen that has a bad leak. It's much quieter than the Moen and the original disposal that was given to us with the house. Fairly priced and best of all, very slim for a 3/4 sized disposal.

If Replacing Old Disposal Read Below

I have no issues with the quality, warranty, instructions or installation...however, Lowes Project Source could make two changes to make this an easy 5-star review. This is a corded installation, and the instructions do step you through using an existing hard-wired install, which is in most homes. However, to perform this task, you would need a strain relief (with nut) and two wire nuts. The instructions tell you "available separately" for both. No one would know this until they're halfway throu...

Easy Install. There was a blocker where the dishwasher drain plugs in and I did not know to remove this. Did not see in instructions to remove either. Found our 3 days after install.

Better and Cheaper

This disposal is extremely easy to install, even for a 10-thumb DIYer. Compare it to the Badger 5X that I've been using for 30 years. 3/4 versus 1/2 hp. It's smaller. It comes With the power cord, while the Badger charges you extra and unless you pay even more extra, you have to wire it yourself. It is jam resistant, which means no more reaching under it to yank that hex key that you also pay extra for. Even better, it has a 10 year warranty and not a 2 year.
