Oil-Rubbed Bronze Flush Mount Light Review

I have a low ceiling in a hallway. I needed a light to replace the original light. The light needed to be small dimensionally. This light kit was perfect. I actually have purchased this light kit twice now. I broke the globe moving a box spring into the bedroom off this hallway. Easy to install and easy to replace the globe. I really like that there are no screws holding the globe in place. The globe spins into grooves on the base and tightens.

An affordable basic option that provides good light for a hallway.

OK, but not real good

It serves its purpose, but not as easy to mount as directions indicate. Biggest drawback is that it contains only one bulb. Using the recommended 13W CFL produces enough light, but not as much as should. Using in a powder room as only light.

Installed quickly and the dome does not use thumb screws to secure.

A good upgrade

Bought this as an upgrade to a far older type fixture. This one works much better in how the opal globe attaches in place -- no more of those horrid 3 pin screw system that you have to turn until tight. Now, the globe itself twists into the fixture and is much more secure that way. I'll be upgrading my others with this same fixture in the near future. Put this in my guest bathroom to replace the outdated gold one. Very pretty “glow” coming from the light.
