Great light, very easy to install. I put an outlet plug on it & installed it with a wireless switch. Works great & I didn't have to run the wiring for a switch.

Good, Basic Utility-Area Light Fixture

The '50s-era home that we were remodeling had SEVERAL coats of paint on the ceiling, especially above the kitchen sink. This fixture was large enough in diameter to hide the "rainbow" at a decent price & life expectancy. Nothing fancy, just a long-lasting decent light fixture at an affordable price.

Economical solution

This light fixture isn't particularly attractive or stylish, but those weren't my reasons for purchase. We're adding a bathroom to a dry cabin on a very tight budget, and this little light met our needs and budget guidelines. It installed easily, and works. Those were the only real criteria. Would have 5 stars if it had been more attractive.

I purchased 2 of these light fixtures to replace 2 bare bulb fixtures in my walk in closets. They now provide a finished, more professional appearance to my closets.

Product was easy to install. No issues whatsoever. I would buy it again if I needed another.

Eh...Not So Much

The price was right, but a major downside is that it has only one socket, which instead of pointing down (because there wouldn't be room inside the cover) is parallel with the ceiling. The the result of this is that it provides uneven light to one side of the room, lighting up the side to which the bulb points, and having a shadow behind it. That's pretty dumb. Also, the fiberglass insulation layer that is between the base and the ceiling was a nightmare to work with, and after getting insulatio...

Closet Light

Needed to replace a florescent closet light. Very inexpensive and simple to install. Looks like it was made for the space. Will definitely by another if needed.

Glass breaks too easily

when turning the globe in to lock you have to be extremely careful to make sure it doesn't bind if it does it will never come off without it breaking

Going back to the store

This light is such a pain to install. It may work well in a newly constructed home where everything is up to code but installing in our 30 year-old home was not easy. There are so many things to fault but the fundamental flaw is having to line-up the base with two screws that are mounted on the installment bar and then slightly twisting the base. That was impossible. Additionally the light does not seem large enough to accommodate a standard 60W bulb. We put one in to test the light before ...

Dangerous Extremely This Glass Cover

The glass cover is extremely thin! Tried two different lights. One cracked and fell hours after installation, the other was so fragile, just applying it to the fixture it crumbled. Dangerous.

Cheap made

The glass globe is so think it shatters when trying to install the bulb. I actually think the light bulb has a thicker glass than the fixture. Do not recommend.
