looks can be deceiving

I purchased this cabinet, expecting a relatively inexpensive, but solid cabinet. Unfortunately it is "cheap" and rather shoddy. The finish is rough. One of the drawers had splinters in the bottom edge, and there is very little wood in this vanity. Unfortunately these were discoveries made after the cabinet wast installed. It doesn't look bad, and hopefully will hold up to daily use. But, I suggest selecting something else.

Great for budget

We remodeled two bathrooms and were on a budget. Cabinets are beautiful and worked with our budget. No regrets.

This cabinet is junk

The doors are the only wood on this cabinet, we had to completely reinstall the draw tracks to keep them from falling out. I tried to paint this item and the paint would not stick, peeled right off. The finish is some type of plastic sprayed on. Worst product I have ever seen, I am very disappointed in Lowes for selling this item. We will have to purchase another one to replace this piece of junk but not from Lowes.

One gets what one pays For,

Yes, this is made of particle board but it's made well and will stand up to normal use.

bad vanity

if i new it was partical board i would not of bought it. for $349 it should of been real wood, at least pine. WHAT A JOKE I COULD OF MADE THAT FOR LESS THAN $100

Look but do not touch

The price was right $429. It looked flimsy when I opened the box. My son and I had carried it up two flight of stairs. I thought all it needs to do is hold up a counter and be a place for my hair brush. Not wanting to drag my son out of the basement again I continued with the installation. Cheaply made

It would be difficult to find a cabinet more cheaply made. The drawer tracks pull away from the wood and cardboard frame. necessitated stiffening with additional screws so it will not pull out with use.

2181A Vanity

It was almost too tall. Old vanity was only 30 inches tall, this new one is 34 inches tall

Well Built, Nice look, but......

I like the sturdy construction, finish was nice. Was going to use it to replace and existing vanity but had to return it because the drawer width caused a conflict with the plumbing, which was centered on the vanity, like the sink. Rather than re=do the plumbing, bought another cabinet.

Highly Recommend

Although it's definitely not a high end vanity, it doesn't look "cheap." There's lots of drawer and cabinet space and since we use it with a single bowl solid surface top, there's plenty of counter space. Vanity has held up good, after nearly three years of heavy use. For the size and the price, this vanity can't be beat.

Not Made Well

First off, I have to say Lowes tried to correct a situation for a bad item. Managers were nice. BUT this item is not made well, compressed junk, was damaged & missing the handles it was suppose to come with. Purchased Feb 2017. Now April 2017. Project Source has still not sent me handles. We ended up returning the item, but either way, stay away from Project Source items, customer service got annoyed with me when I questioned how long it is taking to get me handles. Nice quality vanity !

Only thing I would suggest is make sure you carefully measure where your plumbing will be inside vanity . For mine I had to do a bit extra work to make it first behind the drawers .

Great for the price

My only regret is the drawers are so shallow my hair dryer won't fit in it. You cannot put in bottles of things standing up. For example, hair products must be laid on their side or left on the counter. If you need deeper drawers, choose another product. I am about to redo another bathroom since I have moved, and the only reason I am not getting this same vanity is the drawer depth. Other than that, no complaints.

Looks awesome, perfect for my upgrade.

We were looking to update our 1970's bathroom with something that was affordable and good looking so we can put our house back on the market. This fits the job perfectly. I had to cut the backside for the plumbing but that was easily done with my cheap oscillating multi-function tool from Harbor Freight. Bathroom Vanity

We bought this because it was the only one that matches our bathroom. It was in a box, so we couldn't see it in the store. When we got it home and opened it, the 3 drawers on the right side was not even. The left side of the drawers were higher than the right side. My husband can fix it, but its the point that we paid our hard earn money for something that was not built right.

I had read the reviews before I brought and the main thing people said was hardware missing. Well mine was missing also but I told lowes and they let me pick new hardware for no charge. It is made cheaper but I feel a good price for what I got and I am happy with it!!

Nice looking

We bought this vanity because our old vanity was several inches smaller and we could not buy a sink top without special ordering. This will serve its purpose in our remodeled bath. I would pay close attention to the drawer size if you are changing vanities. Although this vanity is bigger than what it replaced, the drawers are over an inch thinner. good but not great.

easy to install. had to cut the back for the pipes and install the handles. the only real gripe i have is some of the edges were rough. if you don't smooth them out it will peel the wood layer off. other than that it dropped right into place.
