Would Not RecommendPurchased these as I was in need of a set for install door strike plates. I was shocked that they were in no way sharp. Each one of the three had a flat face where the sharp edge should be. They were so bad I could not use them.. Save yourself the frustration and buy a different brand.

These chisels were dead flat out of the box - not even expensive chisels are dead flat. The factory grind was rough - but a 320 grit diamond stone smoothed them out in no time. 9 micron diamond stone gave them a perfect edge, finished with leather stropping - and they are hair popping sharp. The steel is EXTREMELY surprisingly good for this price - the keenness and hardness is better than the kobalt chisels, and holds an edge much better and longer than the kobalt chisels - id say its more on ...
