Ratings & Reviews for Project Source 3-Gallon Portable Electric 110 PSI Pancake Air Compressor
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
This small air compressor is suitable for basic tasks like inflating tires and running small air tools. Many customers found it to be a good value, especially when purchased on sale. However, it has some limitations - it is very loud when running, the 3-gallon tank size means it takes a long time to fill and doesn't provide much air capacity for extended use, and it may not be powerful enough for larger jobs or tools that require higher air flow. Overall, it is a decent budget-friendly option for light-duty home and DIY use, but customers should be aware of its limitations.

Seems to be a a good little unit
As other reviewers have said, it is noisy, and a bit slow to get up to high pressure. But then, what do you expect at this price!? If you only need for small job now and then, it will do. [Assuming it doesnt break in a few months.]

Not worth it‼️
Would Not RecommendNot what you need if you want air, took almost 4 minutes just to reach 80psi. The noise was deafening, like fingernails on a chalkboard. Don’t waste your money.

Too small to be useful
Would Not RecommendThis might work for blowing up one or two bicycle tires, but that is about it. I tried to blow up a few pool intertubes and could never get the pressure up above about 6 psi (even though it says its rated at 150 psi), I had to stop several times just to blow up a single kids intertube. Maybe I should have gone with the 6 gal version - but I just really liked the size of this one - and it would have been easy to store between uses. Returning this - will consider the 6 gal compressor.....???
leaks air
Would Not RecommendI've used it twice, both times was empty the next morning.
perfect for my space

I offer no advice to others.
I bought this unit to replace an unsatisfactory unit I had from harbor freight. This 3 gallon pancake unit proved to be even sorrier (worse) than the one I had. It took 20 minutes to add air to an under inflated, not flat tire. It leaves a lot to be desired.
