Bait and switch

As others have noted, the case you get isn't the one pictured. I specifically purchased this for the case. Would have been better off with a harbor freight set for 1/4 the cost . If I knew this was the case included I wouldn't have purchased it.

File set

This is a good price and great performing item. I used the large file on 7075 aluminum with WD40 and it performed great no flex good grip in the handle. I would purchase again if needed to in the future

Good deal for the price.

In general the files work well enough. However, the handles are not easy to connect with the files and don’t stay put. The file carrier was not as pictured and is hard to get the files in properly.

Case sucks

Good files. The case sucks and is made to hang up, not travel.

files are soft and wear quickly

i bought these because i needed a file And lowes didnt have a single nicholson like i wanted I’ve used several of them They wear out really fast. The teeth are dulling and they don’t cut well after ten or twenty minutes of filing soft annealed steel. If you are using them on really soft material like plastic, wood or aluminium they might be ok For anything harder expect them to wear out quickly They are really inexpensive, other sets like this run $100.

Affordable file set for many uses

I am currently using this set for guitar repair, wood working, and plastic . They are a dream to have the right tool at hand. I do recommend them to anyone.

Love the set. Quite a few pieces at this cost. NOT a fan of the carrying case. It’s made if cheap material and doesn’t stay together. Overall though, happy with this set
