What Customers Are Saying
This file set offers a good variety of sizes and types suitable for a range of DIY and hobby projects. Many found the files to be of decent quality and effective for their needs, especially for occasional or light use. However, some noted the files may not be the highest quality and could wear out quickly with heavy use. The included carrying case or pouch was a mixed bag, with some finding it convenient and others feeling it was poorly designed.

'Carry Pouch' really isn't
First impressions: What I bought in-store has the same files, but not the same cloth organizer as shown here. Might be an upgrade, can't tell yet. There is no built-in tie or strap to keep it together when rolled, so it won't stay that way. Since I'm just going to dump these in my tool chest, it's not a thing, but if the organizer appeals to you, maybe keep looking. The plastic packaging is not 'no-hassle'

Great for the price.
Would RecommendA nice little set. I know files and these are good. Not crazy about the file handles but they are ok.

they are alright
Would RecommendThe carry case is nothing like the picture. All the pockets are about an inch big. Aka just the tip of the file fits into it, then the rest of the file velcros on so it stays put.. not that bad of a file set for the price, ive been using them for about a week now and they havent caused me much trouble, they kinda fall out of the handles a lot but thats about all... i havent touched the tiny files though cuz im afraid they will snap first use, very flimsy... but the big ones are good for the pric...
Different case
On 7/13/2017 I went to my local Lowe's and thought I was buying the set pictured above. But the set came with a different tool roll. Instead of a long sleeve for each file there is only a short pocket to put the end of the file in and a velcro strip to hold down the handle end. The velcro doesn't push down very well between each file and they tend to move together when rolled up. Not sure how the tool roll is supposed to stay closed. It comes with a 30" piece of light weight cord but it's not at...
Don't get sooooo emotional.
Would RecommendIt's a heck of a bargain for ~$20. If you are a professional woodworker or carpenter, this set probably isn't for you. If you're into small projects, tinkering around, and in my case, needing to assist my son with a Pinewood Derby Car then I highly recommend. It's a modular set and the files could fit better into the handles. It's a "Project Source" product, not Porsche. Well worth the money and they held up for all of my small projects.
Adequate set
Would RecommendI bought the set a few years ago under name Taskforce. Work fine to shape wood and deburr and smooth edges of metal. Just did some final shaping of 1/8" aluminum with the flat files without problem. I plan to pick up one or two name brand files now that I know which I use the most. Then I can compare. A set for $20 is a good deal. My canvas case is a little different than shown, but while the fit of files was tight at first they did loosen up and are ok now. Have to be careful wrapping it so the...
Files are fine, case? Not so much
The files are fine. Plenty sharp. If it had come with the case shown in the picture, it would have been really cool. But it is not that case. Mine as pockets about an inch long on the bottom and a Velcro strap about halfway up that does not align with the holes. Pretty useless. I just through the files in a drawer of my toolbox and threw the case away. Files (what I bought it for) were fine, though.
