What Customers Are Saying
The set of caulk removal and smoothing tools is generally effective for DIY caulking projects. The caulk removal tool effectively scrapes off old caulk, though it may struggle with very thick or hardened caulk. The caulk smoothing tool helps create a clean, professional-looking finish on new caulk applications, though some users found it not rigid enough or had an awkward angle. Overall, the tools are useful for the caulking process and help achieve better results compared to using just fingers or other improvised tools.

Would Not RecommendFirst, yes it will work, sort of. The problem I have is how low quality it is. The scraper blade is loose and it felt like it was going to break when I used it. I would spend an extra $1.00 and get a better quality tool to remove old caulking.

Don’t buy it.
Would Not RecommendAbsolute trash. It broke before even finishing removal of caulk from one bathtub. I get that it’s cheap but it was the only product of its type sold in the store. Highly disappointed. I came back to purchase another one and haven’t even taken it out of the package because I know what the outcome will be.

Cheap tool - bad result
Would Not RecommendIt doesn't do anything better than a utility knife. I punted it and used a utility knife and window blade scraper.

great idea, poor design
Would Not Recommendthe smoothing tool works, however, the cutter is not robustly attached to handle and becomes loose with initial light duty use.
Excellent
I find that both tools, are very easy to use, they are endurable and also easy to clean.

Big help to remove caulk
Would RecommendThe caulk removing tool was very helpful….I was removing several layers and it stayed sharp and did great in the corners. Still had to use a razor blade in some spots but the tool helped get long pieces out so the razor blade areas were fewer and easier to finish with. I still used my finger for smoothing the caulk….just felt like I had more control over the final result.

50% great
Would RecommendThe caulk removal tool was great. It's actually quite sharp (cut my finger accidentally) and can be used from more angles than I realized. The smoothing tool is garbage. It didn't help AT ALL and just made everything worse. Super smeary results, too fat of a surface - just a complete waste. I wouldn't ever use it again.
