Bad design
Would Not RecommendNo way to adjust it to be flush with the ceiling if your electrical box is not perfectly flush or recessed. Not suitable to replace a ceiling fan due to the way the screws come down from a ceiling fan vs holes for replacing a light fixture. Not enough clearance under the housing for the screws.

Must have perfectly flush ceiling electrical box
As mentioned by others, very hard to twist on with all 3 tabs aligned, but for my retrofit the bigger problem was the electrical box needs to be above the surface of the drywall or you will not have a flush to ceiling light. They are heavy. Heavy enough you can't just use old work electrical boxes that rest on drywall with flip out wings. Directions say must be mounted to structure and for the weight I believe it.
