Extension Cord "Fixer"

Female extension cord end was just the checker. Attached it in only a few minutes and was ready to be used. Thanks Lowe's. You're there for all our home handyman needs.

Manual dexterity needed

The price of the plug is getting dangerously close to the cost of a complete light duty extension cord.

Perfect repair solution.

Easy to install, came with ref/install sheet, and looks like the original plug on my extension cord. It fit perfectly! Lowes also sells the male end if needed. It saved my medium-duty 100-foot cord for a few more years!

This plug is chintzy junk

Not well made. I would not use this on anything beyond a basic lamp wire, because the internal connections are flimsy and the quality is questionable at best.

Be prepared to be delayed due to lack of help

Product was okay, just difficult to find in the store and help was non-existent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It works

Harder to use than the Leviton one I bought a while ago. But seems to work ok.

A bit tricky to set up, but works

[Employee of lowes] Getting all 3 wires looped around the screws was a bit of a juggling act (I could use a few extra hands), but after it was done it seems to be working pretty well. Biggest complaint is how tight the line/load are. Neutral is fine, but the line and load connectors are VERY tight, making it hard to unplug anything. This is easily remedied with a splitter/adapter on the end though, which I often use anyway.

It's Tight but Everything Fits

I had to cut off 4' of a 50' 14/3 extension cord and replace the female end. This particular part is inexpensive and fits in the shields of my mower, chainsaw, and blower. Getting the individual wires around the terminals and inside the outer cover was a challenge but it worked out fine. I've used it several times since with no problems.
