Watch for flawed screw threads...
Would RecommendNice size replacement plug for a hair curler. However, one of the screws had a flawed thread making it difficult to tighten sufficiently to trap the wire. The remedy is to clamp the plug then force the screw beyond the flawed part of the thread, then loosen it so the wire can be inserted and tightened.
