What Customers Are Saying
Customers are sharply divided on this vinyl flooring cutter. Many report it fails to cut through standard luxury vinyl planks thicker than 4-5mm, only scoring the material and requiring manual snapping. Several describe the plastic base or handle cracking after just one to three cuts, calling it cheaply made. A smaller group finds it works well for thin peel-and-stick vinyl tile under 4mm, praising clean cuts. Overall, reviewers are split between strong dissatisfaction with performance and durability versus limited satisfaction for specific thin-material applications.

when I asked the flooring associate if this would cut the vinyl plank flooring she sold me she said "Yes" Her answer should have been "NO". Lowes is hiring inexperienced people to advise about products they have obviously Never used. She could have at least opened the APP and read or advised me to read the answer is NO it won't cut vinyl plank!

Straight cuts are challenging
Would Not RecommendThis is the cheapest vinyl flooring cutter out there. Just remember that you get what you pay for. It is extremely challenging to cut a straight line with this cutter. I just had a small project and figured this would be fine. It ended up stretching out the project as every single tile I cut. I need it to be trimmed or dressed. For the price you are better off getting a pair of heavy duty Kobalt scissors. Or spend more on a better cutter.
The cutter broke after I cut the first piece

INot for LVT vinyl planks
Would RecommendOnly works on LCT vinyl. Does not work on LVT vinyl planks.

Junk. Wouldn't cut at all. Don't waste your time and money on this.
multiple issues
Would Not RecommendThe position of the blades make lining up the flooring to be cut very difficult. Upon trying to cut flooring, the blade position once again will score (not cut) either side of the flooring, not the middle. Without being able to either line up you flooring or being able to cut or even score the center of your piece, the is no point to use this tool.
Great for simple cuts
Would RecommendGreat value for the money. It made the job go so much faster than if I had only used a box cutter.

One and done
Would RecommendInexpensive product, worked great for one floor, about 200 square foot. Used the waterproof vinyl interlocking flooring. After that, was so dull the flooring broke unevenly. Had to finish with chop box.
