Plastic not glass
Would RecommendI’ve owned two versions of this light. The original that I purchased 10 years ago had a glass frosted cover. The one that I purchased most recently had a plastic frosted cover. When I replaced it, I swapped out the plastic with the old glass and it worked great.

Replaceable LED light
Would RecommendI had purchased the original light just like this that did not come with a warranty. The light did blow out and I had to replace it. This one has a plastic cover rather than a glass cover so it's a little easier to install but this one can also be repaired rather than replace like the last one does so this one has a warranty on it. I also purchase the extended warranty. Is fixture can also be used on a dimmer switch which is wonderful.

Would Not RecommendTwo out of the last two Project Source LED lights have flickered or failed within 1 to 3 months after installation. Anyone posting a review after the initial installation will give it a 4 or 5 star rating. It looks like a functioning light. My experience with both lights were premature failure. I even thought I had electrical issues or the flickering was due to improper installation. No electrical issues, but an overpriced cheaply assembled product.
