Would RecommendAfter 18 years our pop up were getting too low. Had to cut the grass low so they would not deflect off the grass and weed whack around them. Got tired of it. So we replaced all 8 of them and used these to bring them up. They worked perfectly and zero problems with them breaking like other reviews.

Would Not RecommendI've had two of these crack where the large outer diameter joins the smaller diameter threaded section. Once assembled you cannot put much force on the sprinkler head body to shift the way it is pointed. Pushing it in any side to side direction will stress the cutoff piece enough to crack it. I found other 1/2" cutoff risers that had a thicker joint where the large end joins the smaller OD threaded section. Those work much better than this one, enabling you to shift/tilt the assembled sprinkler...
