42 inch tow lawn sweeper

The worst design sweeper ever. The tow bars are built wrong. They elevate the bag at an angle that prevents a full capacity. I would say that only a 1/3 of the bag is filled before any the sweeper stops filling.

brushes not stiff enough/ tongue too short

Bought this today, hoping it would pickup pine needles. pinecones and leaves. workmanship 5 accessories/ bolts/ assembly 5 fit 5 Function on leaves 4 Function on needles 1 Function on pinecones 2 It seems the brushes are not stiff enough to do the job Engineering 3 (Tongue is too short to allow turns)

Sweeper good, assembly instructions very poor

Their assembly instructions are very poor. Only pictures no written instructions to go with the pictures. so as I was putting together, found out that some of the bars needed to be installed in the opposite directions. Had to break down and redo several times. I got so frustrated I wish I could have returned the sweeper. I took me over 4 hours to assemble. If you do buy, go on Youtube, the assembly directions are much better.

Could (and should!) be a lot better

This machine works well to start with, but the axle soon attracts longer grass stalks and other material to bind on the axle, and it is soon unable to rotate at all. The design doesn't anticipate his and provide a blade or similar close to the axle to prevent the build up of binding material. Consequently you can be happily towing the thing along to look around and see the wheels not turning at all - dragging on the ground. Then you have to stop to remove the build up. A task that is not easy. B...

Written instructions

This is my second 42" sweeper I've purchased. My first lasted quite a while, so I replaced it with another one. My only complaint are the instructions. Only pictures and no narrative on how to actually put it together - had to watch a 20 minute video and it was still difficult with only pictures. My suggestion would be to add written instructions to aid in assembly.

Long lasting

I bought this 11 years ago and has sat outside uncovered for most of that time . Finally had to replace the bag and the 2 thin rods that separate the bars that hold the bag. Some rust on some of the hallway pipes , will remove rust and spray with rustleoum . Works great whenever I use it !

Terrible Design and Durability.

I used this once, the tow behind will lockup the outside wheel when you turn. The locked up wheel digs a trench in your lawn. The plastic canvas rips easily where the stiching is at the top. The wheel is a plastic gear, with minimal shielding to keep debris out, i imagine this wont last long, make the wheels metal please. Last and worst, durring assembly you need to snap together the plastic leaf catcher fabric around the aluminum, but the snap is missing on both sides, it was never installed ...

Bag tears easily

I am in my 2nd sweeper in 6 years. I should have known better. The catcher/bag rips after a year or so and I’ve been holding mine together with duct tape for the past 2 years. It is now “untapeable”. I’m trying to decide if I replace the bag or by a different product and brand.

Needs improvement

I literally just bought this 2 hours ago and it took and hour to put together with terrible instructions. There are no words. Just pictures. I thought I put it together wrong because the basket does not sit Level and it can only get about 1/3 full before running out the front. It is the way it is supposed to be put together as far as I can tell. I wouldn’t recommend this product. I recently purchased a tow behind spreader that works great. Disappointed in this purchase.

Great product

I bought this product for my husband and he loves it. It works great. While he was assembling it, there was some parts missing. Part #48130 and Part #43943 was not in the box. Would appreciate if you could send those parts.

Confused ???

Yet to try it on lawn. Manual in box was not helpful. Online assembly book not to be found with this model # 45-3202? ,,,online 45-0320 was for a different model ,,,better instructions but parts list different..,can you not include a printed assembly instruction sheet that is more that’s picture.,, I hope I love the performance but the assembly was well more than 3 hours and I am not stupid. I know you can do better. The online video was of some value but not as convenient as well written instr...

Poor hopper material

I have used this sweeper 10 times. I poked a hole in it and the entire hopper split in two. I am not sure the replacement cost is worth it when it is likely to happen again.

Great item

Took me and my wife a couple of hours to put together. We are in our 70's and 80's. Product seems to be heavy duty and better than my last one that was not a AgriFab product.

bag is too tight, could not get both snaps hooked very hard to put together and was missing one washer

Great Sweeper

Works as wanted, saves my kids a lot of time with leaves. Well built, very sturdy , my partner was able to put it together with not problems but took took a couple hours so plan on some time.
