Decent mailbox.

Mailbox is made out of a plastic type material so it won't rust or get bent but may not be as durable as a metal mailbox and post. Easy to install - you need a 4 foot 4x4 treated post that you half bury and preferably cement in the ground. Latch is snug to stay securely closed.

We had a Trump sign in our front yard. Someone drove across our yard and destroyed our mailbox. This was a replacement for the one that was destroyed. It went together easily. The entire project lasted about 2 hours including the digging and concreting the new post. I recommend it. I was in no mood for nonsense and so when I say it went together easily trust me in did. It looks much better than our old one.

Replacing an old, broken mailbox myself

The Postal Pro Hampton Mailbox was exactly what I needed. Sturdy, great price, nice polymer material, easy to install and it came with easy to understand instructions. I highly recommend this mailbox.

The Hampton Mailbox

This is a piece of crap. Didn't come with any hardware and no number stickers. Very flimsy. I will definitely keep the receipt and label because there is no way it is going to last 5 years. The only reason I gave it a star was because that is the lowest rating you can give something. It should bed a minus 5 stars.

It's An OK Replacement, However...

I replaced our old mailbox with this Postal Pro. Right off the bat, I ran into a couple of issues: 1. Fit - the plastic post cover does NOT fit a standard 4x4 wood post, unless you take the time to shim down the post to about 3 and 3/4 inches. Make the dimension slightly wider to account for slight width dimensions on 4x4 posts. 2. Screw holes - There are NONE on the post cover. I'm not sure why a company can't take the time to drill out the pilot holes in advance. We'll see how well it hol...

Mailbox was easy to assemble and easy to install--looks great!

Quick and easy to replace the old box

Our old wooden post rotted out and the old mailbox fell into the yard. I bought this mailbox to replace and update the look of the house. It was a matter of minutes to snap the newspaper base on and install the included bolts and nuts. The hardest part was making sure the 4X4 post was straight in the new hole with quick set concrete. There are 4 screws that attach the base to the post and it was done before the mail was delivered the next day.

Basic mailbox with durability

The mailbox is a good one. Having to dig a 24" hole for the post was a major challenge. So far so good. Door sticks a little but in time I'm sure it will loosen up.
