I had the worst mailbox on the cul de sac for decades! I improved so many parts of my home over the years but never the mailbox! When I started recent renovations I thought this is finally the time. I searched where to find nice contemporary mailboxes and it led me to Post and Porch. I picked my box, color, post, and numbers and received them in really timely fashion. My family and I LOVE our new mailbox, and now it’s the BEST one on the cul de sac!!!

Would RecommendIt’s everything I wanted it to be. Solid construction. The door is quite heavy which is a great thing for me, except I worry about USPS being rough with it and letting it “slam open” which hopefully doesn’t degrade the hinges quickly. That said, “a man who worries before it’s necessary worries more than necessary.” I searched the internet for a couple months and this is as top tier as it gets for an average income property. Great First Impression
This mailbox is the finest I have ever owned in my 70+ years. Of course, it was the most expensive, but IMO worth it. Our mail carrier, we do not really know, even left a note saying she “loved” our new mailbox. Very solid box with strong magnetic clamp. It will be interesting to see how the magnetic numbers hold up against the snow plows throwing heavy snow here in Northern Michigan. To be determined.

Would RecommendI bought the large and it is the perfect size. As the steel ages the mailbox takes on a character of its own. Most of the parcels that had to be left at the door now fit in my mailbox. With a long driveway, this is A time saver for my mailman and more convenient for me.

Would RecommendTo install the post, we poured a cylindrical concrete base (12 inches in diameter, 19 inches deep) and secured the post using 1/4-inch wedge anchors, as described clearly in the Post & Porch video. The post and mailbox improved the curb appeal of our home. Our postal carrier likes it too!
