Poor Quality Assurance at the Foreign Plant

It took three purchases of this light fixture before finding one without a major (sloppy, unprecise) welding joint that made the fixture too crooked to use. The Lowe's associates, though, were always very courteous during the return process; no questions asked. Once I installed the final fixture, it looked great in our remodeled bathroom.

Look nice

For the price they look nice and don't scream builder grade. They are easy to wipe down and keep clean with the straight lines as well. I will be buying more to finish our next bathroom remodel.

Poor quality control

We ordered two. Both came in original packaging that was not damaged on the outside. Upon opening them, both were bent and needed to be returned. Not sure we would buy them again.

Easy to install

This light fixture is easy to install, and it looks really good in the bathroom. Very affordable.

Lovely but bad wiring

This is a good quality, good looking light especially for the price. Unfortunately after installing we had one bulb plug not work. We tried a couple different bulbs so we know it was bad wiring. So we returned it and purchased a different light. Otherwise it looked great!

bathroom vanity light

Remolded bathroom and needed a new vanity light. The bell shspe hanging down is perfect. Also by hanging down you don;t have dust getting inside and making them hard to clean since you would have to take them off to clean. good quality for the price.

rusting finish 2 years later

This is a nice looking light, when it's new. In only two years, the finish rusted and it looks absolutely horrible. This is a poorly manufactured product and I would stay away from this product..

Poor Finish - Rusting

Purchased several items from they Lyndsay collection for a guest bathroom remodel about a year ago. The faucet by Jacuzzi and this light by Portfolio both are rusting! While we absolutely love the design, the quality of this line of products is poor.

poor design

This is a pain. Worst purchase we have ever made at Lowes. The way the globes screw in causes the attachment to misthread. We have one globe that will not screw on, and it is stuck 1/2 way on and 1/2 way off. I’m about to rip the thing off the wall and toss it in the trash. Do Not Buy.

Nice Fixture

This light fixture was a prefect match and fit our design of the bathroom. Easy to install

Wife loved the light but we had to return two of them before we got one that fit right. The lamp holder were bent.

I bought this light fixture to replace an older one in my guest bathroom. I just love it! It is beautiful and fits the bathroom so well. It's got a good sleek design. It was also easy to install.

This looks great in the bathroom and gives off plenty of light. It is perfect for over the sink.

Sleek

We recently bought a 100 year old home and are fixing it up. I bought two of these for the bedrooms, and they dont disappoint. They're simple, yet sleek and classy looking. Not the brightest for a whole room, but a nice accent light with a floor lamp. Very happy with my purchase!

Bathroom Light

Easy to install light for the bathroom. All the tools needed to successfully update an existing light in a bathroom. Didn't take long at all to install and worked without issue.

Horrible Product

Total garbage, I couldn't even finish the installation. The tool they give you to secure light shades doesn't even fit the nuts to tighten them. The base that attaches to the wall was scratched and was asymmetrical to the light bar. Just a total waste of my time and money. I returned it today and will never buy another allen & roth light fixture!

Poor design

The rings that hold the globes in place were oversized relative to the external threads on the sockets. It was impossible to thread them on without cross-threading... even when I tried doing it without the globes. And once they're cross-threaded, it's a bear to get them back off. It's a nice looking light fixture but, after cross-threading the globe retention rings 5 times with zero success, everything went back in the box.
