Inferior Quality

This is our second batch of Allen Roth string lights, each having failed over a matter of months against mildly inclement weather. If I were you, I would look elsewhere for superior lighting. Is it not our expectation that lights deemed suitable for the outdoors are able to last more than three months at a time?

Not good outside

Nice color and lights but after 6 weeks outside water in bulbs and large sections not lighting. I would not buy again.

Not waterproof

I assumed these would hold up outdoors, we have them around our patio. I bought them a month ago, love the look and lighting but went out tonight and see a string out, come to find out there’s puddles of water in the bulbs that are now dead. Disappointed in this product. Normally love Allen and Roth products but these did not hold up for more than a month

bulbs not replacable

bulbs were not replaceable, so once burnt out the just throw away

Sections stopped working in weeks

Of the multiple strands I purchased 1/2 have sections that stopped working. Seems like the middle section is most prone to failure. Strings are plugged into additional strands and they light up, so it isn't as if the wires are all broken. Will definitely be replacing them with a different brand.

too many contradictions, not for use 90+ days, etc

Purchased 12/05/22 20:27:27. Pg 1 of PDF manual says "bulbs are not replaceable" so why is a light included? so are 2 fuses but did not test that. Plus no instructions on how to replace that light as globe does not come off. Product is listed for outdoors but only for less than 90 days of use. So we wait another 9 mos to use again? We purchased this light string based on its length, color, LED; and can't use but 90 days a year? Wanted to use in patio area all year long. Will be returning these...

Cheap product. Multiple popping out of wires

Once one starts to string the lights, the wires and/or the entire connector inside the light bulb base itself pulls out from the housing. Lights seem to be too heavy for the wiring/connectors.

Perfect for the front or back porch. Reliable, fair pricing, plenty on hand at Lowes, multiple options available

Good outdoor lighting that can be chained together

We used this as lighting around our camp site. They worked great.

Great design and unique motif for a modern diy Christmas tree for our holiday decor. Soft tone with very dense count of lamps on a string. Could be used for other seasons in a landscape, garden room, or casual home.

Started well but ...

Purchased in June 2021 and worked well for a few months. Some of the lights stopped working and a month or so later only 20 or so continue to work.

Light color gives me a headache

It could just be me, but for whatever reason I hate the light quality of these bulbs. It's possibly too artificial of a color for me? To be fair I really struggle with the new LED lights used for cars, Christmas lights, etc. Other than that personal preference of mine everything else about this product was great. All of the plastic globes stayed in tact from the moment we saw them in the store to the moment we completed hanging them up. I do like that they are plastic bulbs and they do give off...

Okay for the price.

These have a definite LED pulse and are a brighter, colder white than I was hoping for. I installed them along the privacy fence rather than along the deck rail to minimize the effect. They're okay, but I wouldn't buy them again.

Bulb Covers

The lights are nice, but the bulb covers are the downfall. We found a few covers gone by the time we got them hung and we continued to lose them, probably from wind or squirrels.
