Solid and well made
This unit was purchased as a replacement for a Malibu 120W unit that lasted a dozen years or so. This xformer is a solid unit and worked straight out of the box. The controls are on the face of the unit and will be exposed to the weather. Hopefully the designers took that into account and it won't be a problem. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the product.

Stopped working
Would RecommendPurchased this past October and two months later the timer and the day light sensor stopped working. Lights stay on all the time. I have to go outside to disconnect the lights. It’s a terrible product and it’s also expensive for the junk that it is.
Built-in light sensor is a problem ...
This transformer has a built-in light sensor which means garage/basement application is not recommended. However, I did install in my garage. I put black tape over the sensor and plugged the unit into a timer. Set the timer for on/off times and works fine!

Would Not RecommendI can not give an accurate recommendation on the product because I never got to use Why you ask Because the product that was shipped to me was USED. It still had the wires that the previous person could not remove because they stripped the screw trying to remove it. This is the second time this happened to me The first time it was landscape lights, in that incident , they switch the new lights for old dirty. I guess no one at Lowe’s checks returns to make sure stuff like this does not happen

Would Not RecommendBought two. Liked the ease of programming. But after one year each broke. The digital values will not hold, usually resetting to always on, or just spinning. Threw both away. Will not buy from this manufacturer again.
