Open the box and check if slanting or straight.
Loved the design. I bought a total of 9 and had to replace 3 of them because they slanted inwards towards the wall rather than straight up and down as in the picture on the box. I consider this a defect and a hassle - didn't want to go with another style, I liked this style. Therefore, processed re-orders and returns until I had 9 upright sconces with little or no slant inwards.
